Meet our take on the classic roll-top backpack. Designed to wear and last, our Waxed Canvas Rucksack is made from heavy duty 16oz waxed canvas with extra thick 2.4mm vegetable tanned leather and solid brass hardware. Every feature has been thoroughly considered to maximise its lifespan.
The Rucksack has a large central pocket, internal laptop sleeve, accessories pocket and two outer pockets on the front. Access to the main compartment is through a single buckle for quick access, and a roll top means you can adjust the backpack to the height you need whether you’re packing for a day trip or the commute into the office.
As with all of our products, we’ve avoided using any synthetic materials in the backpack and in any of the packaging. The waxed canvas, leather and raw brass will all age and develop over time to make your backpack one of a kind.
When fully open, the backpack measures 72cm (H) x 32cm (W) x 17cm (D).
Care:
Waxed canvas is a great material designed to wear and develop its own unique patina. If you ever need to clean your waxed canvas, it's best to do it right.
- When possible, brush away dirt or marks with a dry brush.
- Wipe away marks or stains with a damp cloth (the less water the better).
- Markings caused by water penetration will disappear but can also be ironed out.
- Treat our waxed canvas with a little care. Avoid extreme temperatures like hot cars, as the wax on the canvas can melt.
